What is alex syrup ? (22nd Sep 22 at 6:05am UTC)
alex syrup is used as a cough syrup as it reduces the activity in the cough center of your brain thus suppressing the cough. It helps to ease the blocked or stuffy nose by narrowing the blood vessels in your nose. It also provides relief from allergic symptoms. Alex Syrup is not recommended if you have high blood pressure, certain heart conditions, or enlarged prostate as this medicine can worsen pre-existing conditions. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Alex Syrup, ask your doctor for a substitute medicine.alex syrup is a combination of three medicines: Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, which relieves dry cough. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. These are not a serious concern and can be resolved themselves without any need for treatment. In case of prolonged or chronic side effects, consultation with the doctor is important. If you have any symptoms that indicate sore throat or dry cough, we recommend you visit your doctor immediately and start the medication prescribed by them. Alex Syrup is helpful in thinning the mucus lining and thus it provides relief in stiffness and sneezing. It is generally used to prevent and cure hay fever and the allergies associated with it.
